TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
